Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

This site collects very little, and this policy says exactly what. If anything here is unclear, use the contact form and ask.

Written for this business, but not reviewed by a lawyer.

This page describes how this site actually works — the services it uses and the data it touches — rather than generic copied boilerplate. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have it checked before relying on it in a dispute or a signed client agreement.

Who this is about

This policy covers the website at flowlocaldfw.com, operated by FlowLocal ("we", "us"), a web design and local digital growth business serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

What we collect

Only two things, and only one of them comes from you deliberately.

Information you send us

When you submit the contact form, we receive the information you type into it: your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to provide it, and your message. We do not ask for anything else, and the form has no hidden fields that collect more.

Information collected automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. These are generated by the act of loading a web page and are used for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is following you.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. Information you submit through the contact form is used to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the work. That is the entire purpose.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else's marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.

Who else touches your data

Three services are involved in running this site:

  • Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and delivers them to our inbox. Your submission passes through their systems. See their privacy policy.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and generates the server logs described above. See their privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. See their privacy policy.

That is the complete list. No other third party receives anything.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions stay in our email for as long as the enquiry or the client relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records. Server logs are retained according to our host's schedule, which is measured in weeks rather than years.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email flowlocaldfw@gmail.com or use the contact form and we will action it. There is no fee and nothing to fill in beyond telling us what you want.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the GDPR. We will honour a valid request under any of them.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we hold very little, which is itself the best protection we can offer you.

Children

This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.

Contact
